Areti was born in 1977 and she has been living and working in Athens since 1995. While studying she was recognized twice by the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY) and five times by the Bodossaki Foundation. Before graduation she had worked part time for architectural contests and later she became a member of PMA’s architectural office (Pandelis Massouridis Associates). In May 2005 she decided she needed to learn more regarding construction and was employed by one of the largest construction companies in Greece, AKTOR S.A., where she stayed until the end of 2012. Since 2013, she has been working exclusively as a freelance architect and interior designer mainly in Athens, but also in Halkida & Santorini.
Areti has always had a passion for interior design & decoration and the projects she participated in as an architect, helped extend her knowledge and cultivation in these sectors.
Currently, her on site experience in large scale projects permits her to easily design in a tasteful but also realistic way, to coordinate various design schemes, to manage construction and to control general cost. She also loves to design custom made furniture and puts a lot of energy into choosing artwork and decorational lighting for her clients. The market expertise when providing specifications and procurement lists for her projects is also one of her strong abilities and along with effectiveness in communication and collaboration she fulfills the profile of a valuable and multifarious designer.
Areti has a restless spirit and to her, every project is a new challenge.
Her belief is that a good designer is the one who adapts each client’s needs to the particularities, special features and characteristics of each space. She has taken on various projects related to housing, restoration, hotels & restaurants, professional spaces, retail, exclusive children spaces and was also involved in large scale architectural public projects.
