The Public theatre of Piraeus was built in 1895 according to Ioannis Lazarimos architectural drawings. It had a long history with glory and suffering.
In 2008, its restoration and renovation started following Schema 4 architectural team final design, by AKTOR S.A. Construction Company. Until 2012, the experiences lived were amazing and unforgettable. AKTOR team along with N.Petropoulos, was deeply involved into the design changes that took place, trying to maintain as many initial elements of the building as possible. The wooden stage, the balconies, the lobby, the ballroom, the top floor, the facades, all were restored with respect to the past and its architecture.
